Ok, one of my favorite things in the whole world is, yep, you guessed it toasted homemade bread with honey. If I am really loving life I will have hot chocolate with it. I am a sucker when it comes to hot chocolate. This is something my mom and I used to eat during our late night chats. Those are memories never forgotten!
I have only ever made bread with my mom and it was a long time ago. So I wanted to try it and use up some of my wheat now that I have my moms wheat grinder. I don't think I did to shabby for my first time going solo. If you think honey is good with it, just try some homemade raspberry or strawberry freezer jam. I guarantee you cant have just one bite! Im so grateful that I took the time with my mom to learn how to make yummy food. It helps me to feel close to her whenever I make something from home. I feel like it honors her to bake using her recipes. Thank you mom, for teaching me, loving me.

I haven't stopped by in a while and I've missed all of your new posts! The bread looks delish, your mom would be proud!! The family pics are adorable and good for you doing the running thing. I'm not a runner either, but I am doing a triathlon this weekend and unfortunately the "tri" part means I have to run:(
You go girl! You've made me cry at 7 am. I love your memories. . .probably because one comes so close to mine with my mom. The hot chocolate and toast at a late night chat, sitting at the kitchen table. Those were the good ole days.
