I know there are a lot of cool things to do up here its just finding out about them. A friend of ours mentioned this place in Stanwood called "The Lights of Christmas" at Warm Beach Camp. It was a little pricey but I don't mind that as long as I get my moneys worth. So with 50 degree weather and no rain we decided to travel 45 min. to the Lights!
Let me just say that they totally delivered! Wow! What an amazing event! I kinda thought there might be some light and it would be pretty but I had no idea how BIG it really was! The kids each had papers that needed stamped at each area in order to get a prize at the end (that kept them busy and on track) This might just have to be a yearly tradition with us! The camp was a christian camp and we could totally tell by the people who ran it. Everyone was so kind and helpful and very kid friendly.
Some of our favorite stops were
**"Bruce the Spruce", the talking Christmas Tree. He wanted us to have a TREEmendous Christmas and we had fun exchanging jokes with him.
**Face painted with an AMAZING artist (I don't usually do that kind of stuff at fairs ect. but this stop was the highlight of the night! I would pay this guy big bucks at Halloween. Some of his 1/2 and full faces were awesome as well.
**Polor Express II, a fun little "choo-choo" for Davis's age. Carson thought it was lame but just because he's 8 years old and thought it was going to be fast!
All of these with kettle korn, cotton candy and happy kids made for a great evening (and with coupons we got in $8 cheaper ;)
**Pony rides, Chelsea's horse was named "Frosty"
We had such a great time! Davis gave this engineer bear about 6 hugs! He loved him!

We certainly hope you DO make The Lights a holiday tradition. I just wanted to express my thanks. BTW - I shared a link to this article on our Lights of Christmas Facebook Fan Page.
