I've dreaded turning 30 and I thought "what could be better than completed a 5K and conquering my fear. I'm also running in memory of my sweet mother. Oh, how I miss her so much. The day following my race is Mother's day and I want to run it for her. She told me as she was very sick, "Sherri, take care of your body and don't take it for granted. I wish I could have my strength back and be strong again. She is my inspriation and I can do anything if I put my mind to it!
